JACK DUQUEMIN COMPLETES GUERNSEY TO SARK SWIM

On Saturday 9th August, C A Duquemin staff member Jack Duquemin swam from Guernsey to Sark in choppy seas and ever changing currents.  He ended up swimming 14.5 km, the tide having taken him towards Dixcart Bay on the east coast of Sark.  The swim took 3 hours and 45 minutes.   

C A Duquemin’s Chairman, David Duquemin, was supporting his son in the kayak.  Congratulations must also go to Michelle and Jason who completed the swim with Jack.

Jack was swimming to raise money for the GO100 charity which helps disadvantaged youngsters in Guernsey get into the workplace.  He has so far raised over £1,600 with the main sponsors being C A Duquemin Ltd, Rawlinson-Hunter and Access Scaffolding.
